Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton Senators goalie Nathan Lawson has missed the past two and a half weeks, but he could make his return this weekend.

Coach Luke Richardson said on Tuesday after practice, Andrew Hammond is set to make the start in Toronto on Wednesday and they expect Lawson to be ready to start in goal on Friday night at St. John's.

As for Wednesday's game, it'll be a much earlier start than the B-Sens are used to. Puck drop is scheduled for 11 a.m. in Toronto.

It's a bit of a mystery to coach Richardson just how his team will react to the big change.

"I'll tell you about 3 p.m. But you know what, I think it's the same for them," said Richardson. "They're in the same boat as us. It's the same as when you complain about the ice conditions not being very good, it's the same for the other team, so there's really no excuses. I think we need to be mentally strong, get off to a good start and make sure we're bearing down on chances if we get them early."

The game in Toronto also features Johnson City native Jerry D'Amigo, who plays for the Marlies. D'Amigo has been hot recently scoring seven goals and adding two assists in his last seven games.

Following the game against the Marlies, the B-Sens fly out to St. John's, NL for a pair of games. This season Binghamton has played just one game against the IceCaps. That was a shootout loss at home back in November.
