Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Over this B-Sens six-game losing streak, there has been one constant, which is the absence of their captain. It looks like that streak will end as defenseman Mark Borowiecki will likely return at some point this week.

Boro practiced with the team fully for the first time Tuesday morning. Coach Luke Richardson said he's listed as day-to-day, and they're going to wait and see how his ankle responds following Tuesday's practice.

He's missed the last six games, and Richardson admits the team has missed him on the ice.

"It'll be great not to have not just his presence, his physical presence on the ice and what he brings on the ice, but his leadership in the room," said Richardson. "I mean we have a fairly young team, we have a couple of new guys so it's good to have a guy that has his demeanor around and really calms things down, and pushes guys at the same time."

The team just had one full practice this week, which came Tuesday, before they travel up to Rochester to face the Amerks Wednesday night. Binghamton is 4-1 against Rochester this season.

Hobbs recalled from Elmira
The B-Sens recalled forward Danny Hobbs from Elmira on Tuesday. It's the second time this season Hobbs will join Binghamton.

In two games with the B-Sens, Hobbs has a goal and an assist. During his time in Elmira this season he's scored 16 goals, which is tied for first on the team.
