(WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators have not won since Thanksgiving. A seven game win streak leading into that holiday has quickly given way to a four game losing skid as we approach Christmas and New Year's Day.

Perhaps more frustrating than 4 straight losses is how they've come for Binghamton.

In each of the last three games, the B-Sens have led at some point in the second period only to see that lead disappear.

Coach Luke Richardson says with the holidays here, a sharpened mental approach can put the team back on track.

"During the Christmas holiday season coming up, we want to make sure we're more focused than everybody else," Richardson says. "There are distractions and there is family visiting and you're making plans to visit home -- and it's all great stuff that's really important in your life. But when you get to the rink, you have to be able to park that and concentrate on what your job is and what you have to do.

If you can do that better than the other team this time of year, that will really help, too."
