Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
Former B-Sen Brian McGrattan is now a member of the Syracuse Crunch.
Last night, he returned to the Broome County Veterans memorial arena for this first time in an enemy uniform.
McGrattan played 3 seasons for the Binghamton Senators as the teams enforcer.
And set the AHL single season record for penalty minutes in a season with 551.
Still, fans gave him a warm welcome back.
"A couple of fans and a couple of guys were yelling my name and cheering so it was kind of cool.
"I had a good time here. We had a good team when I was here and a handful of memories that were really good."
McGrattan recorded 5 shots, but didn't record a point.
And he's trying to rework his game as a more well rounded player, even seeing some time on the power play last night.
And he had no penalty minutes in his return to Binghamton.
