Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The roster for the 2014-15 Binghamton Senators could look very different from the 2013-14 version of the team. That's because a number of key pieces are now free agents.

There are a lot of question marks around if these free agents will be re-signed. They include key pieces like Stephane Da Costa, Derek Grant, goalie Nathan Lawson and Jim O'Brien.

They're players who have spent a number of years with the B-Sens and have become household names. However, some of them may be moving on, including O'Brien.

In WBNG's sit-down interview after the season, coach Richardson spoke about O'Brien specifically.

This year, he spent the entire season in the AHL, and battled some injuries in the process. After playing parts of five seasons here in Binghamton, fans have likely seen the last of O'Brien.

"Guys like Jim O'Brien, more than likely he's probably going to move on," said Richardson. "Both his choice and the organization's choice. For whatever reason sometimes things for whatever reason go the other way and you need a fresh start. He came in and did a great job for us in the end. He really pushed and worked hard and just even two games in the playoffs I think he showed players what playoff hockey is."

Other free agents this year include mid-season acquisitions Alex Grant and Patrick Mullen, Chris Wideman, David Dziurzynski, Michael Sdao, Wacey Hamilton, Corey Cowick, Cole Schneider and Ben Blood.
