Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

Yes it's still early.
And they have been decimated by injuries, and they're young.
But the Binghamton Senators are also the last place team in the entire Eastern Conference, and have the 3rd fewest standings points in the entire AHL.

Just after winning 2 straight, the B-sens have lost their last 2 games.
Not exactly the dream title defense season, and it wears on those players back from last year.

" You know I can't beat myself up over it, they're doing what I ask them to do and they're making progress and getting better every day. Every weekend to me we're improving. It's a shame because if we happened to get a point out of this one tonight you'd say we're on the right track, headed in the right direction. And I think we are, we just didn't get a good result."

" It also gives the young guys a chance to step up and show coach what they've got. I thought everyone played well and we'll just be that much better when they come back."

Binghamton will be back home Friday night before hitting the road for games Saturday and Sunday.
