Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) If there's one thing better than a plane ride as opposed to a long bus ride, it's getting a day off after you land.
That's what the Binghamton Senators earned for themselves after returning from Charlotte up 2 games to none in the eastern conference finals.
But now it's back to work.
And back in the same exact situation as last series, having won the first two on the road.
So now the hard part, winning a game 3 at home, something the B-Sens have yet to do this post season.
"Game 3 can be a huge momentum swing if we're able to get it. We'd take full control of the series and it's our series to lose if we let game 3 slip away. They're right back in it so its important we come out and really harness our emotions maybe not let them get the best of us early and make sure we play within our system," says the captain Ryan Keller.
"Again, it's just no more than awareness and we just have to understand and respect our opponent and what they're state of mind is and they'll be that wounded animal we've talked about and if there's certain things I feel we've done very well through this process, I think game 3s can up to this point would be an area we can definitely be better at," says head coach Kurt Kleinendorst.
Game 3 is Tuseday night at the Veterans memorial arena....make sure to give the home team a big home ice advantage.
They drop the puck at 7:05.
