The B-Sens will take all the help they can get.
They are in dead last in the Eastern Conference as they battle thru injuries, callups and youth.
So even if it's a short term solution, they'll take it.
Thursday Ottawa sent down defenseman Matt Carkner on a conditioning assignment.
He has yet to play a game this season after a knee injury in September.
Carkner played all of the 2007-08 season with the B-Sens, winning the AHL man of the year award.
Binghamton has 3 games this weekend, starting at home Friday night.
