Houston, TX (WBNG Binghamton) Both teams and goalies seem to be evenly matched in the Calder Cup Finals.

Head coach Kurt Kleinendorst says part of the reason the series is tied at 1 has been the play of rookie goaltender Robin Lehner.

Houston's Matt Hackett has allowed 3 goals in the first two games while making 42 saves.

Meanwhile, 19 year old Robin Lehner has made 66 saves, while allowing 3 goals.

After game 2, coach Kurt Kleinendorst praised Lehner's effort, but admits he hasn't had to stand on his head yet.

Lehner gives credit to the defense.

"I think Robin's had to make a few more big saves for sure than Hackett but at the end of the day, we've watched him grow before our eyes and he just continues to get better," Kleinendorst says.

"I think we've been doing this playoffs. We stay out of my way. We let me see the puck. I can take those pucks. I have to take those pucks in the playoffs here and I think we're doing a great job of blocking shots and all that stuff too...obviously it's big," Lehner says.

Lehner and Hackett faced each other in the finals of the OHL last year, with Hackett coming out on top.
