(WBNG Binghamton)
Just yesterday we met the new coach of the B-Sens Luke Richardson.
He's excited to begin his first job as a coach.
But first he needs a team.
And that's what Ottawa asst. General manager Tim Murray is putting together.
" We will go after the best players. 2 years ago it worked. Last year it didn't. We will chase 2 or 3 top free agents. We can't talk to them until July 1st but we know their names and we have our pro meetings on June 4th."
Murray did feel confident that defenseman would be interested in coming to Binghamton, since there may be opportunity at the NHL level in a 2-way contract, but that forwards might see a full lineup in Ottawa and shy away.
