Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One of the brightest spots for Binghamton in their win over Hershey was the play of Jim O'Brien.

"Obie" scored two goals including a short handed game winner last night.

He says he's just starting to feel better on the ice.

O'Brien missed nearly 20 games with a foot injury.

He says it's been a little difficult to get his timing back.

And admits even he was surprised by his play Friday night.

"Anytime you're out for an extended period like that, it takes you a bit to kind of get back to where you were and today, I've been feeling good the last few days and today, didn't feel as good to be honest but the puck ended up going in. It's funny how the game works like that."

Since returning to the line-up January 7th, O'Brien has two goals and two assists.

His goals Friday night were his first since November 13th.

The B-Sens are back in action Sunday at 5:05 pm when they host Adirondack.
