Ottawa, ONT (WBNG Binghamton) After leading the Binghamton Senators to a playoff run and 44 wins, coach Luke Richardson receives a one-year contract extension from Ottawa to keep him with the organization through the 2014-15 season.

Richardson led the Senators to a 44-24-1-7 record and to a playoff berth for the first time in two seasons. Despite being swept out of the playoffs, it was a boost after finishing in last place the season before.

Assistant coaches Steve Sterling and Matt Meacham also receive one-year contract extensions as well.
