Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) With the end of the season, also comes the task of the team saying goodbye to each other.

While the free agents, including Mike McKenna, Tim Conboy, Corey Locke, Mark Parrish and even coach Kurt Kleinendorst say they'd like to be back, they understand it's a business.

And the exact group of guys that fought so hard together all season, will never again be in the same locker room.

"It's part of the life...it's part of the game. Unfortunately for 9 months out of the year, you spend more time with those guys than you do your family. You get pretty close with them and the season ends and you go your separate ways so it can be difficult at times," says captain Mark Parrish.

Most of the players came to the arena this morning one last time to clean out their lockers and say goodbye.

Some are on their way to Ottawa, to become part of the Black Aces as the team looks to make it's way toward a Stanley Cup.
