Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators are back home and are preparing to play game 3 of the Calder Cup finals.
It's going to be a little bit different feel playing at the Broome County Arena after playing the first two games in Houston.
For one, the fans will be cheering for the B-Sens.
Another difference is the size of the rink.
The ice surface at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena is a little smaller than Houston.
The B-Sens think that'll be to their advantage, because they are used to playing on it.
For Houston, it'll be their first trip to Binghamton this season.
"The neutral zone is small and things happen fast. You've got to be prepared. Obviously there are other rinks in the league with small ice surfaces but probably the only advantage we'll have is just familiarity," says captain Ryan Keller.
The next 3 games will be at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
If necessary the series will shift back to Houston for games 6 and 7.
Game 3 is Wednesay night at 7:05 pm.
