Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Ottawa Senators have recalled Mark Stone on a emergency basis from the Binghamton Senators, the team announced Tuesday.

Stone, 21, has scored nine goals and added nine assists in 19 games in the AHL this season.

He also missed 10 games this year after getting hurt in the B-Sens opener against Syracuse.

It isn't Stone's first appearance in the NHL. He played in four regular season games with Ottawa last season, but did not record a point. Stone did record a point in his NHL debut in 2012, as he picked up an assist in Ottawa's playoff series against the Rangers.

Binghamton returns to the ice on Tuesday looking for its fifth straight win as the B-Sens host Norfolk on New Year's Eve.
