Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Ottawa Senators traded B-
Sens forward Andre Petersson to Anaheim on Wednesday in exchange for defenseman Alex Grant.

Petersson had recorded 40 points over the span of 47 games in Binghamton this season. It was his third full year with the B-Sens.

Grant comes to Binghamton from the Norfolk Admirals, where he has played in 52 games with the Duck's AHL affiliate. This season he's tallied 27 points and 46 penalty minutes.

Earlier this year he made his NHL debut, playing for the Ducks against San Jose on Nov. 30 and scored his first NHL goal in that game.

Grant was originally a fourth round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2007 NHL Draft.

The B-Sens and Norfolk are scheduled to play five more times this season. The first of those meetings is Friday, March 14 in Binghamton.

Ceci, Hoffman eligible to return to B-Sens
Cody Ceci and Mike Hoffman will both be eligible to return to play for the B-Sens this season. Both were briefly re-assigned to Binghamton prior to Wednesday's trade deadline in order to keep the option open.

Players currently in the NHL must be on the AHL roster by the trade deadline to be eligible to return to the American Hockey League the rest of the season.

For now, Ceci and Hoffman are both still playing for Ottawa.
