Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
You win some and you lose some, and that has never been more true than in hockey free agency.
Another member of the Calder Cup champs is leaving.
Roman Wick signed back with his Swiss pro team in a 3-year deal.
But Binghamton does get another very productive forward.
A one-time NHL all star, Mark Parrish signs a 2-way deal with Ottawa.
Last year with the Buffalo organization, he played 56 games in the AHL, scoring 17 goals and adding 34 assists.
Ottawa also signed goaltender Mike McKenna to a 2-way contract.
Last year he appeared in 39 games with the AHL's Albany Devils and played two games in the National Hockey League.
With Albany, he posted a 14-20-2 record with a 3.61 goals-against average and .866 save percentage while recording one shutout.
In two games with New Jersey, he had one loss, a 3.05 goals-against average and an .893 save percentage.
He will likely serve as Robin Lehner's backup in Binghamton this coming season.
