  • B-Sens to sign Bertuzzi

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators announced today they have agreed to a professional tryout agreement with forward Todd Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi is scheduled to report to Binghamton on Monday, January 12.

  • Wideman selected for AHL All-Star Game

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The American Hockey League announced the rosters for the Eastern and Western Conferences for the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Turning Stone Resort Casino. Chris Wideman will be the Binghamton Senators lone representative on the Eastern Conference squad.

    (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Ottawa returned defenseman Chris Wideman to the Binghamton Senators Monday. Wideman was on Ottawa's roster for two games but was never in the lineup over the weekend.

  • B-Sens rally only to fall short in OT

    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton Senators mounted a valiant comeback only to lose 5-4 in overtime to the visiting Syracuse Crunch. The B-Sens rallied for three third period goals to take a 4-3 lead with less than four minutes to play before Mike Blunden completed the hat trick performance to force the overtime period.

  • Hammond allows 5 goals in loss to Penguins

    Wilkes-Barre, PA (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton Senators fell to host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 5-0 in the first game of 2015. Andrew Hammond played in his first game since December 19 allowing all five goals on 28 shots faced to fall to 6-10-2 on the season.
