  • Lindberg, Greening traded to Toronto

    (WBNG Binghamton) The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has acquired defenceman Dion Phaneuf, forward Matt Frattin, forward Casey Bailey, forward Ryan Rupert and defence prospect Cody Donaghey from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for defenceman Jared Cowen, forwards Colin Greening, Milan Michalek and Tobias Lindberg as well as Ottawa’s second-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.

    Toronto (WBNG Binghamton) Tobias Lindberg scored 3:22 into overtime to give the Binghamton Senators the 6-5 win over their host Toronto Marlies heading in to the All Star Break.

  • B-Sens blitz Amerks on road, 5-2

    Rochester, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators beat the Rochester Americans 5-2 on the road at the Blue Cross Arena. Eleven B-Sens players registered points on the night while Cole Schneider and Max McCormick led the offense with a goal and an assist each.

  • B-Sens drop fourth straight in 6-3 loss to Phantoms

    Allentown, PA (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators fell 6-3 to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in Allentown despite a back-and-forth game into the final period.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It took Fredrik Claesson four years with the B-Sens to get his shot in the NHL. He finally got it earlier this month.

  • B-Sens surrender third period lead; fall to Crunch, 3-2

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators failed to hang on to their one-goal lead after 40 minutes of play and fell 3-2 to the visiting Syracuse Crunch.

  • Hershey Bears shutout B-Sens at home, 4-0

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators were shut out 4-0 by the Hershey Bears in their first meeting of the season at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

  • B-Sens lose Puempel to Ottawa, Allen showing promise

    (WBNG Binghamton) Thursday morning, Matt Puempel, the second leading scorer for the B-Sens (13 goals), was recalled to Ottawa. But the B-Sens newest player, Defenseman Conor Allen, already has two points in his first two games and hopes to continue this type of production for his new team.
