BU Bearcat Brief

BU Bearcat Brief

By Brendan O'Reilly

Just two nights ago the first shots were fired on the nets of the brand new Bearcats Sports complex.
The $5 million dollar masterpiece will host men and women's soccer and lacrosse.
Tuesday night the women opened with a heart breaking overtime loss.
But good times are on the horizon....they promise.
" I think our team deserved better, the fans deserved better," says women's coach Jeff Leightman. "But hopefully they'll come back and keep coming. We really need their support. It really did lift us."
The next chance is this Saturday night.
The women are back on the pitch to host LIU at 6:00.

Meanwhile the men get a little closer to home this week.
The Bearcats are at Hartwick on Saturday night for a 7:00 start.
