Dixon Named Player Of The Year

On Saturday our sports overtime year in review special named BCC senior Emily Dixon our college athlete of the year.
And someone agrees with us.

Today Dixon was named the player of the year by the national soccer coaches association of america.
Dixon led Broome to its first NJCAA national championship in any sport.
She scored 29 goals this season, including both goals in the 2-1 victory over Gloucester to secure the national title, earning tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
Dixon had previously been named conference and region player of the year and a first team all american.
