And like the high school sports season, the college year is long over.
But a pair of BU wrestlers are still hard at work.
Tomorrow new recruit Jimmy chase and Whitney Point grad Donnie Vinson head to Colorado to train with the rest of team USA before heading to Turkey and the FILA Junior World Team Trials
" I just want to go out to the training center because it's the best place in the United States to train. They get everyone from all around the world to come in for about two weeks at a time. You can't really complain the food is good so.
Last year the coaches really hyped this up because that's what was its representing our country. We are going over there as team USA, the only Junior Greco team and we want to do our best. Last year we scored two points just to team points in the tournament it was embarrassing. I know I'm taking that with a little salt going into this year trying to get the maximum team points 10 as world champion."
Both Chase and Vinson earned their spots on the team by winning a national tournament.
The competition in Turkey runs from August 4th to the 9th.
