the fall practices are also going strong INSIDE.
The BU women's volleyball team is sweating it out in the west Gym during the summer.
They went 9-3 in conference last season, once again making the playoffs before losing to top seed Albany in the finals.
Now they are ready to take the next step.
" You know, there is one member of this team that experienced 2005 tournament championship. And I know she's hungry for another one and the others have gotten close. So they're really looking forward to season for a chance to make that happen this year. We know how we started last year, and we have some new girls were trying to mesh that together with the older girls from last year and looking to hopefully improve."
And opposing coaches think this could be the year for BU.
They were picked 1st in the conference preseason poll.
