On the local college field, the BU Bearcats are gearing up for soccer season.
And perhaps a return to form.
Not to say anything has been wrong the past 6 years as BU has advanced to at least the conference championship game.

It's more a return to normalcy.
Over the past few seasons, BU has been explosive offensively.
That's a change from the form they showed in becoming a division 1 power, winning by a typical 1-nil final.
And with the loss of some offensive firepower to graduation, that may be the way they havbe to win this year.
" Being a local player I always came to the games when they were on the grass field. It wasn't as pretty a game. Last year, having scored so many goals . Hopefully, I think you'll be surprised at how well we do offensively. Hopefully we don't let up to many goals and we will do what we need to do to get the job done.
Our defenders do a great job of eliminating shots, and everyone just defends collectively. So if we have to resort to winning one to nil that's fine by me."
Opposing coaches in conference still feel BU is a team to watch.
They were predicted to finish 2nd in America East play this season.
