BU Review Underway

While the B.U. Men's basketball team is hard at work in practice, the investigation as to what went wrong with the program is just beginning.
Action News made the trip to Albany to hear what exactly is happening in the investigation of the athletic department
And in short, not much.
Judge Judith Kaye was assigned to lead the inquiry, and so far she has visited campus, held a few interviews and plans to return this week.
After meeting in executive session, chairman of the SUNY Board of trustees Carl Hayden, says he's confident the SUNY investigation will be the only one into the team.
Carl Hayden, the Chairman of the SUNY board of Trustees said, "Based upon the conversations she has had with the NCAA and the America East, they are going to allow this investigation to go forward without at this moment at least, attempting to initiate investigations of their own."
Nearly four weeks ago Tiki Mayben was charged with possessing and selling cocaine in his hometown of Troy.
Just a couple of days later, the school announced 5 more players, including Malik Allen and DJ Rivera were kicked off the team.
Less than a week later, athletic director Joel Thirer resigned.
And then, just about two weeks later, head coach Kevin Broadus was placed on paid suspension.
Mark Macon was named the interim coach.
The men's basketball team plays it's first exhibition game on November 10th at home against Holy Family.
