Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
It'll go down as a loss in the record books, but the BU Bearcats still made another loud statement to the rest of the America East last night against Boston.
The Bearcats were supposed to finish last in the conference, instead they went toe-to-toe with the America East favorites.
Through four league games, BU is 2 and 2 with its other loss coming in overtime.
Boston head coach Pat Chambers called the Bearcats one of the toughest teams he's seen all season.
So forget BU surprising any future opponents, not that Mark Macon would want to...
"We were never trying to sneak up on anybody anyway. Why? We want people to know we're coming. When I knock on your door, I want you to know who it is. If you don't, I might steal something. We're not trying to surprise anybody. Like I said, if I knock on your door and you ain't there, it's your fault your TV got stolen, not mine."
Moral of the story... Lock your doors.
Bearcats have the weekend off before traveling to Hartford on Thursday.
