Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - Ivy League champion Cornell drew the 12th-seed and will play 5th-seed Temple in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The game will be Friday, 12:30 PM, in Jacksonville.

It's the last team Cornell Head Coach Steve Donahue wanted to see.

His mentor is Owls Head Coach Fran Dunphy and Donahue spent 10 years as an assistant working for Dunphy before he came to Cornell.

If you're filling out your bracket, don't be afraid to pencil in the Big Red for an upset.

#12 seeds went 3 and 1 last year in the first round and one even advanced to the Sweet 16.
