It could have been the best weekend of Donnie Vinson's life.
Returning home from St. Louis after winning 7 straight matches at the NCAA wrestling meet to finish in 3rd place and earn all american status.
That's the best any BU wrestler has ever finished at the national meet
However his weekend ended poorly.
This morning the Broome County sheriff's office released a statement saying Vinson was arrested at the Greater Binghamton Airport after he was seen playing with a toy handgun kept in his waistband.
He was there waiting for a friend's flight to arrive.
Vinson was charged with Menacing 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor and released to appear in the Town of Maine Court at a later date.
