The Binghamton University men's basketball has been many things in their brief division 1 history.
But a disappointment on the floor is not one of them.
In each season of America East play they have at least met, if not exceeded their pre-season ranking.

This year the league coaches expect the Bearcats to finish in 7th place.
That was announced at today's conference media day.
The coaches did have high praise for senior Greer Wright.
He was a unanimous selection to the five-man Preseason All-Conference Team.
Wright was a first team all-conference selection in his Bearcats' debut last winter after averaging 16.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in conference play.

Boston University was chosen to win the league, followed in order by Stony Brook, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Hartford, Binghamton, Albany and UMBC.

The women's team gets a little more respect from AE coaches.
They were picked to finish 3rd in conference this season, and their leader is expected to be Andrea Holmes.
The junior was named to the pre-season all conference squad as well.
As a sophomore, she lead the Bearcats in scoring, averaging a little over 13 points a game and was named to the second-team all conference.
She was also first on the team in assists and second in steals.
