Insidelacrosse.com is reporting that Binghamton University men's laxcrosse coach Ed Stephenson has resigned, effective immediately.
The site quotes interim AD Jim Norris as saying, through a university spokesperson, "Binghamton University has accepted the resignation of Ed Stephenson, effective immediately. We appreciate his contributions to our men's lacrosse program and we wish him well in his future endeavors. Kevin McKeown will step in as interim head coach and we are confident that he will provide strong leadership to our team."
Stephenson is the only coach in the history of men's lacrosse at BU and they have won their last 4 games.
