BU Wins New York State Wrestling Title

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton University wrestling hosted some of the top wrestling programs in the state and country this weekend for the 42nd annual New York State Intercollegiate Championships.

After two days of wrestling action, the Bearcats crowned 4 individual champions and had 9 place winners at this year's event.

Thanks to those numbers, the Bearcats captured the team title, its first in the event since 1972.
