We have to wait one extra day this year to officially be allowed to reference "march Madness". And it's meant as no slight to the basketball teams on campus, but the real tournament bracket busters are likely to come on the wrestling mat.

Over the past 3 seasons, the BU wrestling team has crowned 2 All Americans.
This year they have 3 wrestlers ranked among the top 17 in their weight class, including one in the top 5.
They build their season to get ready for this weekend's CAA championships and then for the NCAA tournament that can follow.
" It seems right now we are wrestling at our best compared to last year, where maybe Justin was wrestling his best right now, and I was tapering down. Right now, I think we're all peaking at the appropriate time."

"It's more mental aspect. If your body feels better your mind is going to feel better and you be more confident going on that. The coaches have tapered or training to peak at this time of year."

As a team the Bearcats rank 19th in the country.
BU has 6 wrestlers among the top 33 in their class that would be in the NCAA tournament.
The conference championships are on campus Saturday.
The NCAA Championship will be held on March 15-17 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
