The most successful player that Binghamton University has produced is Scott Diamond. an undrafted free agent he has won 4 games for Minnesota this season with an ERA under 2. He has struck out 23 while only walking 4.
He has been nothing short of great.
And now there's this.

Another Bearcat was drafted in the 5th round yesterday.
Mike Auguliera went to the Boston Red sox, and today signed a contract and will report to Lowell, the organization's team in the NY-Penn league.
His physical tools don't make him stand out, but Auguliera has worked to be a top pick.

Coach Tim Sinicki says, " By leading the country in K/bb ratio and ground ball outs per 9 innings, I think it spoke volumes to scouts that he's a guy that has great pitchability, he can go in immediately and give them quality innings."

Another Bearcat got picked today.
Relief pitcher Lee sosa was taken by the Oakland A's in the 26th round.
