Two Binghamton University baseball players are honored by the conference for their performance in the last week of the season.
Daniel Nevares was named the player of the week and Brian Ruby was named the Rookie of the Week.

Meanwhile, the baseball team is headed to their home away from home, Stony Brook for the America East conference tournament.
The Bearcats have played 6 games at Joe Nathan field this year.
3rd seeded B.U. will take on 2nd seeded Albany, a team that swept a 4 game series from the Bearcats just 2 weeks ago.
Even still, the Bearcats are confident heading into the tournament.

Senior Dave Ciocchi says, "I feel like we're going to use those four losses as motivation and you know, we're ready. We're going to come to play and you know, we know they are too, so it's going to be a dogfight. We're definitely ready for it."

Vestal grad Mike Danaher says, "Going off that, every single one of those games was a dog fight with Albany. We have games where we were down by one and came back and scored two runs and then they came back and take the lead. It was really neck in neck. It really did test our character and I think we learned a lot from those four games against Albany."

The Bearcats and Great Danes start the double elimination tournament off on Wednesday morning at 11:00 am.
