Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Ouch. They didn't say it, but the BU men's lacrosse team probably felt like that following Saturday's 21-7 drubbing at Albany. With the loss, BU missed out on an opportunity to claim its first America East title since 2004.

The team insists that's now in the past. The Bearcats are the No. 2 seed entering this weekend's America East tournament, and while there is a possibility of a rematch with Albany in the finals, Binghamton is focused instead on UMBC.

"Honestly, right now we're looking straight at UMBC. We know they're very good," said senior midfielder Michael Antinozzi. "I think we had a very good game against them the first time we played them. As coach said, we outscored them 9-1 in the second half. So we're looking straight at UMBC."

"They worry us," said head coach Scott Nelson. "They're very talented offensively. In their last two games they have score 31 goals in the two games against Vermont and against Albany they scored 14 goals. So they are going to be a handful, our defense is really going to have to rise to the occasion."

Binghamton takes on UMBC in the semifinals at Stony Brook on Thursday, May 1.
