(WBNG Binghamton) The Cornell men's hockey team may not have won the ECAC championship, but the Big Red will have a chance to play for a national championship.
Cornell made the NCAA tournament as an at large bid.
The Big Red was named as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Regional, where it will play number one seed in the region and number number 2 seed overall Michigan in a first-round matchup
That game will be Friday at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
The game is scheduled for 9:00 pm.
The winner will head to the regional final on Saturday and the team that wins the regional will head to the Frozen Four tournament.
