Cortland, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

For the 4th year in a row, the Cortland men's lacrosse team finds itself one step away from a berth in the NCAA Division Three lacrosse finals.
And for the third straight year, their opponent is Tufts University.

The Red Dragons are hoping for a different outcome this year, compared to the last two seasons when their lost to Tufts 10-9.
The loss in last year's semi-finals is also the last loss for the Cortland team, who has gone through the season undefeated.
While players have extra motivation to beat Tufts, they know they have to concentrate on the game at hand, and not revenge.

"It's been our motivation since the day we lost...it's been in our mouth so hey, we're ready to come so we've just got to bring it, make big plays and come out on top."

"The extra fuel for the fire playing Tufts for the 3rd year in a row is going to be there but hopefully it'll be just to encourage us to play our hardest...noone tries to get out of their role on the team and I think we should be alright."

Cortland will host Tufts University on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
The winner will get a berth in the NCAA championship next Sunday in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
