State College, PA (WBNG Binghamton)
Following unprecedented sanctions from the NCAA, the story around Penn state football has been about who is taking the option to transfer to another school.
Of course one very big player decided to stay.
And I do mean big.
Johnson City grad DaQuan Jones says he'll be playing at around 325 pounds this year, and most figure he'll be a big part of the defensive line, either at end or tackle.
And he says he never really considered leaving.
Jones added it was a commitment to his teammates and belief that his position coach, Larry Johnson, is among the best in the country. That can only help him improve his playing time, and in turn NFL draft stock.
