The last remaining amateur athlete in the Jones family won't be that way for very long.
Syracuse defensive end, and Union-Endicott high school grad Chandler Jones announced today he is entering the NFL draft.

Chan has one year of eligibility left as a redshirt junior, but will leave school early.
This past season he was named 1st-team all big east.
Some speculate his brother Arthur slid down in the draft after an injury filled senior year.
Jones only played in seven games in 2011, but he made them count. The senior finished with 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
An early list of the eligible defensive ends puts Chandler among the top-10 at his position.
The draft is in late April.
