Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton University freshman defender Connie Gormley was named the America East rookie of the week.
In two games, she played all 193 minutes and anchored a defense that's allowed only 1 goal and 6 shots total.
She's the first Bearcat to win the award since Kaitlyn Cook won it last September 5th.
The Bearcats will host St. Josephs Friday night at 7 pm at the Bearcat Sports Complex.
