And even as we are tricked by 60-degree temperatures, it's still winter, and winter sports continue at Binghamton University.
5 wrestlers at BU, including 2 section 4 grads, are at work gearing up for the national tournament next week.

And in the gym, another section 4 standout is gearing up for his 6th national championship meet.
A 2-time all-american, Erik van Ingen of Marathon is running the mile at the NCAA meet in Boise, with preliminaries starting tomorrow.
He has called this era a renaissance in American distance running, and this meet one of the best fields ever assembled.

van Ingen added it's sometimes frustrating to be running at a time when so many great runners are out there, but that only adds to his desire to go faster.
His fastest time this year was the 5th best in America.
