Ithaca, Cortland stay alive in NCAA Regional

Auburn, NY (WBNG Binghamton) SUNY Cortland started the day needing to win two games to advance to Saturday, and that's exactly what the Red Dragons did in the NCAA Regional in Auburn, NY Friday.

Cortland beat Neumann in the afternoon 4-0, and then in the nightcap took down R.P.I. to advance to Saturday. The Red Dragons now face Amherst for a chance to play for the regional championship.

Ithaca, on the otherhand, continued its dominance beating Amherst 3-2 to advance to Saturday's regional title game. The Bombers will play the winner of Cortland and Amherst Saturday at 5 p.m.
