State College, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Penn State football players have been given the opportunity to transfer to another school in the wake of the NCAA sanctions tied to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
Many have said they are staying, including a Johnson City graduate.
Action News has learned that defensive lineman DaQuan Jones will stay at Penn State for his junior season.
On his twitter account, Jones tweeted that the Penn State d-line isn't going anywhere.
A later tweet said the kickoff against Ohio is going to be crazy.
Penn State hosts the Bobcats in the first game of the season on September 1st.
