In their brief time in division 1, the Binghamton University men's basketball team has been one of extremes.
From a trip to the NCAA tournament, to a national attention getting scandal involving arrests, suspensions, drugs and firings.
Just as extreme this season has been their lack of success.

The Bearcats are now the only winless team in division 1, owners of the longest losing streak in America.
This is what new athletic director Patrick Elliot has inherited as the face of his athletic program.
But being a former basketball coach himself, Elliot is preaching patience.

"I fully support our coaches. It's a process and our coaches took over at a difficult time. Recruiting is a big part of college basketball. It takes a couple of years to recruit and especially with losing a little bit of traction in recruiting over the last two years, which is why we won't have upperclassmen."

Elliot was the guest speaker at the Rotary Lunch.
The men are on the road at Stony Brook tomorrow.
