Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It has been a pretty sweet feeling for the BU men's basketball team having won three of the team's last four games, but the Bearcats just can't forget the sour feeling it felt back in January.

That's when Hartford tipped in a shot in the final seconds, which ended up winning the game against Binghamton. It was part of an eight-game losing streak for the Bearcats.

While that game was played more than a month ago, and plenty of things have changed, its a loss that is fueling Binghamton's preparation this week for the Hawks.

"That's a tough thing to watch somebody else make a buzzer-beater and feel that good about themselves on your home court, and it's an empty feeling," said coach Tommy Dempsey. "This is our chance to go up there and try to get one back."

"We've been waiting for another chance, because they did have a great celebration here and we don't like that," said senior Roland Brown. "We're just ready to play and try to get another win."

BU travels to Hartford Thursday night for the rematch at 7 p.m. It's the second-to-last game of the year before closing out the regular season with Vermont at home on Sunday.
