Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) After sitting out the second half against Stony Brook and not traveling with the team to Albany, Bearcats leading scorer Jordan Reed will return for BU Thursday.

Reed had sat out the last game and a half because of what was being called a "coaches decision".

Reed was back practicing with the team on Wednesday, and coach Tommy Dempsey announced he'll play against Hartford.

He brings back an average of nearly 15 points and nine rebounds a game. Coach Dempsey said the issues that kept him out of the previous game are resolved.

"Now we just move forward. We had a very positive meeting this morning," Dempsey said on Wednesday. "I felt very good about where his head is and he's excited to be back and we're excited to have him."

"Jordan is going to get us going. He grabs rebounds, he fires us up with those electrifying dunks, he's really athletic," said freshman Nick Madray. "He sparks us. So I think when he comes back it will give us a lot of momentum pushing forward in conference play."

BU hosts Hartford Thursday night at the Events Center. The Bearcats are still looking for their second conference win of the season after falling by six at Albany on Monday.
