Newport, RI (WBNG Binghamton) This season will be the last for the Syracuse Orange in the Big East conference.
Players and coaches spoke at media day in Rhode Island.
Head Coach Doug Marrone says the biggest thing for him will be to keep his players focused on this season, and not worry about their move to the ACC next year.
"I want to get our players focused on the task at hand about not looking ahead, about not looking to a lot of questions I've gotten already today about conference, out of conference schedule and all it may be. Our goal right now is to concentrate on this pre-season and worry about getting better," says head coach Doug Marrone.
The Orange will open their season on Saturday, September 1st when they host Northwester.
