There's Tying In Baseball

Wednesday's baseball game between Ithaca College (9-3) and Cortand (13-5) was suspended because of darkness following the bottom of the eighth inning. The Bombers, ranked 20th, had rallied from a 10-4 seventh-inning deficit to score the tying run off the Red Dragons (ranked seventh) with two outs in the botom of the eighth. A determination as to whether or not the game will be resumed will be announced at a later date. Statistics from the game would become official when either the resumed game is completed or the decision is announced that the game will not be resumed.
