    Durham, NH (WBNG Binghamton) Fourth-seeded New Hampshire (19-11) turned 13 offensive rebounds into 14 more shot attempts and the Wildcats fended off fifth-seeded Binghamton men's basketball (8-22) 56-51 in an America East quarterfinal game Wednesday night at Lundholm Gymnasium.

  • Orange fall to North Carolina in Chapel Hill, 75-70

    (WBNG Binghamton) Syracuse came within one point of No. 8 North Carolina heading into the final two minutes of the game, but ultimately fell short 75-70 on Monday night at the Dean E. Smith Center. The Tar Heels used a deep bench to its advantage, as the home bench outscored the Orange's 53-16.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Despite having a rough season, the BU men's basketball team is looking forward to starting with a blank slate with the America East tournament.

  • BU's Willie Rodriguez named America East all-conference

    (WBNG Binghamton) Sophomore forward Willie Rodriguez has been named to the America East all-conference team, the league announced Monday afternoon. Rodriguez was slotted on the third team one year after earning All-Rookie honors. He becomes the program's 20th all-conference selection.

  • BU women to play UMBC in first-round of America East tournament

    (WBNG Binghamton) The stage is set for the 2016 America East Women's Basketball Championship. The BU women's basketball team is the 5th seed in the tournament, they will play the number 4 seed, UMBC, on Saturday.

  • BU women roughed up in loss to Maine

    Orono, ME (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton women's basketball team (13-16, 8-8 AE) concluded its regular season with a 69-37 loss at Maine (24-7, 15-1 AE) in an America East game on Saturday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Center.
