  • Syracuse loses to North Carolina in Boeheim's return

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Syracuse 10-7, 0-4) fell short against No. 6 North Carolina (15-2, 4-0), 84-73, on Saturday night at the Carrier Dome in Coach Jim Boeheim's return to the sideline. The Tar Heels came up big in the end, shooting 12-of-13 from the field in the closing minutes of the game to erase a six-point Orange advantage.

  • Bearcats lose in New Hampshire, 58-43

    Durham, NH (WBNG Binghamton) Host New Hampshire (8-6, 1-0 AE) closed the game with a 25-9 run and defeated Binghamton (3-12, 0-2 AE) 58-43 in an America East game Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gym.

  • Carmody's buzzer beater lifts BU past New Hampshire

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Freshman guard Rebecca Carmody netted the go-ahead basket at the buzzer, leading Binghamton (6-9, 1-1 AE) to a 51-50 win over New Hampshire (6-8, 0-1 AE) in an America East women's basketball game on Saturday afternoon at the Events Center.

  • Hornet men, women lose to Finger Lakes

    Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) SUNY Broome's men's basketball team fell to visiting Finger Lakes Community College, 87-71, Thursday night. The Broome women also lost to Finger Lakes, 62-52.

  • Binghamton slips late, drops conference opener to Stony Brook

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Visiting Stony Brook (10-4, 1-0 America East) ended the game with a 17-7 run and defeated Binghamton (3-11, 0-1 AE) 62-52 in the conference opener for both teams Wednesday night at Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center.

    Stony Brook, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton women's basketball team (5-9, 0-1 AE) put forth a valiant effort at Stony Brook (9-5, 1-0 AE) but lost its America East Conference opener 64-58 on Wednesday afternoon at Island FCU Arena.

  • Orange falls to 0-3 in ACC with loss to Clemson

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Syracuse men's basketball team played Clemson down to the final buzzer of overtime on Tuesday night, but was unable to come away with the Atlantic Coast Conference victory, losing by a final score of 74-73 at the Carrier Dome.
