    Chapel Hill, NC (WBNG BINGHAMTON) After leading for much of the contest that included 10 tie scores and 11 lead changes, Syracuse (14-7, 5-3 ACC) couldn't keep up with No. 13/14 North Carolina (17-4, 7-1 ACC), 93-83. Rakeem Christmas' double-double fueled the Orange's fifth game of the season with 80 points or more, which is now 4-1 when eclipsing the 80-point mark.

  • BU women lose at Stony Brook

    Stony Brook (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Sabre Proctor had a game-high 14 points and Kori Bayne-Walker added 13 points, leading Stony Brook (11-9, 4-3 AE) to a 67-54 win over Binghamton (4-16, 2-5 AE) in an America East women's basketball game on Sunday afternoon at the Island Federal Credit Union Arena.

  • Penn handles Binghamton, 26-10

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Penn (4-4, 2-2 EIWA) won seven bouts, including three for bonus points, and the visiting Quakers defeated Binghamton wrestling (5-7, 3-2 EIWA) 26-10 Sunday afternoon from West Gym.

  • Stony Brook pulls away late to down Bearcats, 61-54

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Sophomore guard Marlon Beck led four players in double figures with 15 points but Stony Brook's Carson Puriefoy netted 27, including 14 of his team's final 16 points and the visiting Seawolves held off the Bearcats 61-54 Sunday afternoon at the Events Center.

  • Canes storm through Cuse, 66-62

    Syracuse (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Rakeem Christmas scored 23 points, including 18 in the second half, but Syracuse (14-6, 5-2 ACC) could not hold off Miami (14-5, 4-2 ACC) in the Carrier Dome and was defeated, 66-62. An announced crowd of 30,677 was the largest in college basketball this season.

  • Bearcats storm past Drexel

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Binghamton (5-6, 3-1 EIWA) won six bouts and used a pair of bonus-point wins to forge a 22-14 victory over visiting Drexel (4-7, 1-1 EIWA) in an EIWA match Friday night at West Gym.

  • Bearcat Den: BU eyes Madray's return to bolster front court

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Injuries have cut the Binghamton University men's basketball front court in half. Instead of 6'9" Dusan Perovic and 6'9" Nick Madray defending in the paint, it's 6'7" Magnus Richards and 6'6" Bobby Ahearn seeing minutes.

  • Report: Reed transferring to Tennessee State

    (WBNG Binghamton) It looks like former Binghamton University men's basketball standout Jordan Reed has found a landing spot to finish out his college career. According to a tweet from ESPN's Jeff Goodman, Reed has decided to transfer to Tennessee State.

  • Syracuse bounces back to down Boston College, 69-61

    Syracuse (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Michael Gbinije finished with a team-high 17 points while the other starting four all scored in double-figures to power Syracuse (14-5, 5-1 ACC) by Boston College (8-9, 0-5 ACC), 69-61.
