    Lowell, MA (WBNG Binghamton) Senior designated hitter Griffin McIver homered and drove in three runs, leading Binghamton (12-9, 3-0 AE) to a 6-3 win over UMass Lowell (4-22, 0-3 AE) in an America East softball game on Sunday afternoon at River View Field. With the victory, the Bearcats sweep the three-game conference series and stretch their current winning streak to a season-high four games.

  • Bearcats open conference play with sweep of Maine

    Orono, ME (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton baseball (7-14, 3-0 America East) cashed in on another stellar pitching performance and pushed past host Maine (5-18, 0-3 AE) 2-0 in 12 innings Sunday afternoon at Mahaney Diamond. With the win, BU completed a three-game sweep of the Black Bears and stayed unbeaten in conference play.

    Chicago (WBNG Binghamton) Syracuse's magical NCAA Tournament journey continues! The Orange overcame a 15-point second-half deficit to defeat No. 1 seed Virginia, 68-62, in the Midwest Regional final to advance to the Final Four for the sixth time in school history.

  • Bearcats sweep Maine in conference opener

    ORONO, Maine - Binghamton baseball used two dominating pitching performances and 21 hits in a twinbill sweep of Maine Saturday afternoon at Mahaney Diamond. The Bearcats (6-14, 2-0 America East) won 6-1 and 8-1 in the conference openers for both teams. Binghamton pitchers limited Maine (5-17, 0-2 AE) to two runs on nine hits over 16 innings.
