    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Sophomore guard Jordan Reed poured in 30 points and 14 rebounds and Binghamton men’s basketball (7-22, 4-12 America East) pushed first-place Vermont (21-9, 15-1 AE) to overtime in a 92-82 loss in the regular-season finale for both teams Sunday afternoon at the Events Center.

    ATHENS, GA (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Host Georgia (5-6) scored six runs in the first innings and went on to a 9-2 win over Binghamton (3-7) in the weekend finale Sunday afternoon from Foley Field. The SEC member Bulldogs completed the three-game sweep, though BU played their hosts even over the final six frames.

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Taylor McCarley finished with a triple double (18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists) as UMBC (4-24, 3-13 AE) outlasted Binghamton (5-24, 2-14 AE) 66-60 in double overtime in an America East women’s basketball game on Saturday afternoon at the Events Center.
